Is Financial Aid Available?

Yes. Students receive resident credit from their California Community College and are thus able to apply to the same financial aid sources (state and federal grants and loans) available for on-campus study.

Early application is essential. You may obtain a 2003-2004 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) from your nearest Financial Aid Office. Complete and mail the FAFSA to the federal processor to initiate the financial aid process. Be sure to list ALL of the following Title IV College Codes to your application:

College of San Mateo: 001181
Cosumnes River College: 007536
Diablo Valley College: 001191
Santa Rosa Junior College: 001287

You may elect to file your application electronically via the Internet; the Web site is http://www.fafsa.ed.gov.

The federal processor will mail you a Student Aid Report (SAR); submit it promptly to the Financial Aid Office at the college to which you are submitting your AIFS Program Application. Be sure to identify yourself as a potential Paris program participant.

A limited number of partial scholarships are provided by AIFS to the sponsoring colleges.
